MOOM in Kiel
Living in community in Kiel.
We are Etti and Manuel. After years of hosting guests in Borsfleth and Rendsburg, we now live in Kiel-Hassee as a settled community. One room is free, and we are looking for someone who wants to stay.
What has changed at MOOM
Maybe you have stayed with us before, in Borsfleth, in Rendsburg or at an online meet-up. Since October 2026 we live in Kiel, and our concept has changed.
We no longer offer guest rooms for a few weeks or months. Instead, a settled community is growing in Kiel. If you want to move in, you can apply as a flatmate and become part of it for the long term.
Thank you to everyone who has stayed with us. Everything that has grown here, we learned from you.

How we live together
Everyone has a private room. We share everyday life.
Community meeting
Once a week we talk about what is coming up: the cooking plan, organisation and whatever is on our minds.
Listening circle
We listen to each other without commenting or asking questions. It builds closeness, also when things get rough.
Space for you
Sundays have no programme. Your room is your retreat, and you join community life when you feel like it.
The free room
The room is in a detached 250 m² house at the end of a quiet street with a 30 km/h limit. The train station at CITTI-PARK and the shops are a few minutes away on foot. The rent is €450 base rent plus €60 for utilities, Wi-Fi included.
